Shavings find the floor. Some dust settles on a set of drums which share the space. Experience with music influences the way I approach my work. It was this drum set that started my ventures in woodworking.
Starting as a drum builder, I then attended the Cabinet Making program at MCTC. Moving on to the Inside Passage School of Fine Cabinetmaking to study with Robert Van Norman and learn from James Krenov. Leaving Inside Passage with deeper insight into the tools and materials of the craft, I have set up shop with the hopes of making thoughtful and sensitive things.
In my work I am inspired by the play of liveliness and humble grace, and hope I have reached a level of harmony to experience through the process and share in its result.

His work celebrates a no–compromise approach to the craft shared by very few craftsmen.
